  1. Hey all,

Just wanted to thank you for reviewing Eclipse Phase, and point out a few quick things:

    * EP is no longer published through Catalyst Game Labs; we of Posthuman Studios split away from them in 2010 and now publish it ourselves. The latest printing of the core rulebook has some corrections, two cloth bookmarks, and is on way better paper; same game, just with the production punched up.

    * All of our books/PDFs are distributed under a Creative Commons license, which means you can legally share the electronic versions with your gaming group (and anyone else), and also create deriative works and distribute those for free. That's one reason why we have so much fan material for a relatively young game. We take a lot of time to make our PDFs extra-good, too -- lots of hyperlinks, layers so you can hide the background for easy printing, etc.

    * If you decide to give EP another shot, especially with some new players, you may want check out the free Quick-Start Rules -- they include 4 sample characters (stats given for them in two different morphs), an adventure, and barebones rules to get you up and going: http://eclipsephase.com/qsr

    Again, thanks for the review!

    cheers,
    Adam Jury
    (1/3rd of Posthuman Studios)

  2. Adam,

Thanks so much for responding. Your write up will be a great help to anyone checking out our post or your game.

Mel Culpa, I totally missed the fact that you guys took over your own publishing in 2010! The nice part is that now I know when I buy a book the money's coming to you guys directly. That's a huge selling point for me.

This is one of the few gaming systems that I will be buying all the books for (right now that list includes Rolemaster and Atomic Highway) and defiantly looking forward to running it again.
